As they say, scrum is simple to understand but difficult to master.

This is where an experienced Scrum Master comes in to help. Scrum Partners is an initiative established by Jacob Piotrowski – a Scrum Master and Agile coach with over 15 years of experience in the FinTech, DeFi, automotive, pharma and advertising industries.

While building his professional network, Jacob connected with many recruiters who approached him with contract opportunities that he couldn’t personally accommodate at the time. Recognizing the importance of minimizing waste, a core principle of Scrum, Jacob always referred other qualified Scrum Masters who might have been available at that time.

Today, becoming a Scrum Partner outside Jacob’s inner circle requires holding Scrum.org certification to prove your qualifications and successfully passing an interview conducted by current Scrum partners. As a community rather than a company, there is no commission charged on the projects you win.

No matter what kind of project is undertaken, the approach always begins with following the fundamental Scrum pillars: being adaptive, inspective, and transparent.

For over 15 years, Jacob has successfully implemented scrum with distributed teams, enabling the achievement of synergy and the development of creative, high-quality technical solutions. Each project and team face unique challenges, and it typically takes 1 to 3 sprints to identify areas for improvement. The engagement in projects aims to upskill the internal team and make the Scrum Partner redundant. On average, this transition period takes about 4 months.

Tools like JIRA and Confluence are utilized to bring agile best practices and governance to both traditional FinTech and blockchain projects.
